Dr. Minggao OUYANG received his PhD degree from the Department of Energy Engineering, Technical University of Denmark in 1993. He is the Founding Editor-in-Chief of Elsevier Journal: eTransportation, and the Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Democratic League of China and the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He founded the research team of Tsinghua University on new energy power system and the research system of electrification of transportation power and transportation energy integration. He focused on the three scientific frontiers and technical bottlenecks of new energy vehicle power system. He has opened the interdisciplinary field and talent training mode of new energy power system science. By the end of 2018, he has published 215 Science Index (SCI) indexed papers with 5,300 SCI citations, and was listed in the 2015, 16, 17 and 18 China Highly Cited Scholars List (Energy Science) and 2017 Global Highly Cited Scientists List (Engineering Science). He has given more than 100 keynote and invited presentations at domestic and international academic conferences, including the keynote presentations at the 25th and 31st World Congress on Electric Vehicles.
