The UK will end the sale of new petrol and diesel cars in the UK by 2030. The end of sales will be conducted in two phases: ①There will be a phase-out date for the sale of new petrol and diesel cars and vans brought forward to 2030. ② All new cars and vans will need to be fully zero emission at the tailpipe from 2035.
