The 6th workshop of China Clean Transportation Partnership (CCTP) “Discussion on the 2021-2025 Management of CAFC-NEV Credits and Fuel Consumption” was held in the conference center of Beijing International Hotel on the afternoon of April 26, 2019. The workshop was co-hosted by CCTP and Auto Standardization Research Institute and the Automotive Data Center of China Automotive Technology and Research Center Co., Ltd. (CATARC Co., Ltd.) 20 experts from 14 institutions discussed and proposed suggestions on the improvement of the design and regulation mechanism of the next-stage NEV-CAFC Credit Policy, aiming to promote the sustainable and healthy development of energy saving and new energy vehicles (NEVs) in the medium to long term.

The Innovation Center for Energy and Transportation (iCET) has been involved in the drafting of China's fuel standards dating back to the first iteration and has tracked subsequent developments since. This report is the 8th iCET Annual Report evaluating China’s CAFC standard implementation status. This year, the report, although it covers various aspects of China’s Corporate Average Fuel Consumption (CAFC) development, still places considerable focus on the newly introduced NEV credit system. Some policy recommendations are summarized based on the analysis.
On April 25, 2019, China Clean Transportation Partnership (CCTP) successfully hosted the “Towards Zero Emission Mobility Forum - CCTP 2019 Annual Meeting” in Beijing. The meeting was held after careful preparations and was under the background of the grand opening of the “The Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation”.
